Liverpool Irish Festival

dscf3726

I was hoping to get to shoot more of the Liverpool Irish Festival than I actually did, but commissions and a flu virus from hell put paid to that, and I only got to see a few events. Still, what I did catch was ace and a nice little cross section. There was a traditional music session in The Caledonia, a lovely open mic evening courtesy of Mellowtone and hosted by Only Child’s Alan O’Hare and there was a brilliant musical play on called Scadàn at the Invisible Wind Factory. Can’t actually believe it’s taken me until now to make it down o the IWF but it has and I’ll be back soon with a  few more dates in the diary.
