One minute I’m as calm as you like documenting a stunning audio visual experience in a medieval church in Conwy and then, 90 minutes later, I’m trying to keep up with zombies in Liverpool. The Wake The Dead Halloween Parade, which is hosted by the 70 strong drum group Katumba, snakes it’s way from the top of Bold Street down to the already zombie nation of Mathew Street and then the party continues with live music, DJs and battles at the Invisible Wind Factory. I missed the late night battle this year, due to an early Sunday morning shoot, but did catch ace sets from Samson Sounds and the completely amazing Nubiyan Twist. Very much a name I think I’ll be hearing about in the future. Enjoy your Halloween.
