I’ve been shooting on the Wirral a bit more this year, and I’m back over there today shooting lots of food and drink related material, but these were taken a lot earlier on in the year. This is Liverpool band Stealing Sheep and they were taken on one of those late winter days that didn’t feel like winter at all and we spent the day criss crossing the Wirral taking photographs on beaches and hills from Caldy to Bidston. I also took some on a Lomo Diana camera, hence the scratches, and they’re the ones that the band have been using recently. There’s also a favourite from this session that I’m not posting as I’ve been asked a few times recently to do some music releated exhibitions and I think I’m going to hold on to some new photographs for that. Stealing Sheep have recently released a debut album which has been getting some well deserved praise left, right and centre and they’ve just announced an end of year show at The Kazamier which I suspect might be a bit of an end of the year musical highlight of 2012.
Whilst I also blog some of my commercial work and commissions outside of Liverpool on my main portfolio site, Rivercool is dedicated to my work in and around the city and maybe sometimes just a little bit further afield as I work regularly across the region. Rivercool features both photo and video content from past and present and will include other photo news from the city and beyond.
