Scottish band The View have recently announced a new tour, record deal and the release of their fourth album ‘Cheeky For A Reason’ which will be out on Cooking Vinyl on July 2nd. The album was produced by Mike Crossey and recorded at the Motor Museum off Lark Lane earlier this year and I went down one day to shoot some signing photos and even got a sneak preview of the recording session. The View have recorded in Liverpool before, have done numerous warm up and intimate gigs in the city, are finishing their new tour on June 17th at the O2 Academy and even have a new track on the album called Anfield Row and, although I don’t know what the songs about, they might as well be local.
Whilst I also blog some of my commercial work and commissions outside of Liverpool on my main portfolio site, Rivercool is dedicated to my work in and around the city and maybe sometimes just a little bit further afield as I work regularly across the region. Rivercool features both photo and video content from past and present and will include other photo news from the city and beyond.
