With 750,00 estimated and hoped for in the first year of opening, it’s pretty amazing to find that the new Museum of Liverpool has now hit the 1,000,000 visitor mark in only 9 months and I was down there yesterday to take a celebratory photograph! God knows where the time goes but it seems like only yesterday when I was photographing the very first people to walk through the doors but along the way I’ve photographed Yoko Ono twice, the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh once,  a few Liverpool players, Ken Dodd and a whole lot of other visitors as well the building itself on numerous occasions so here’s a photograph of National Museums director David Fleming with the Director of the Museum of Liverpool Janet Dugdale and children from Bishop Martin School in Woolton, taken yesterday, alongside a few other shots from the first 9 months!
